How they're used
From source layer to cited fact.
These datasets are the spatial half of every analysis. The engine reads them against the lot — zones, overlays, hazards and geometry — alongside the planning instruments themselves.
- Public and freely available. The spatial sources the platform takes in are listed on this page, with the custodian of each dataset.
- Processed into property facts. In some cases we apply further processing to the source data to calculate related facts — like whether a mapped layer touches the lot.
- Cited in the report. Findings that rely on a spatial layer link back to it — the same way clause findings cite the LEP, DCP or SEPP they came from.
Spatial checks complete
Source layers are read against the lot boundary — the results feed the report's zoning, overlay and hazard findings.
