AI in Planning: Council Sessions

PropCode is building AI technology for NSW Councils to use in their planning work. With pressure on planning teams from a number of directions, it's more important than ever to use the power of new technology to help your Council deliver housing and jobs quicker.

We invite you to join one of PropCode's sessions for Councils in the remainder of 2024. You'll hear about the state of AI in planning, but more importantly, you'll get to share your thoughts about how you want to use technology in your planning team. These sessions will be of interest for persons at all levels in Council.

The PropCode Platform

Our platform already includes PropGPT, an experimental AI-powered virtual planner allowing users to freely ask questions about the planning rules on a site.

We are launching Rapid Planning Report, an auto-generated planning report for a site and project type that uses AI to analyse relevant rules in the LEP, DCP, and SEPPs. This detailed and transparent report answers the key questions common to most projects like permissibility, maximum built parameters, and common design rules.

All of our AI-based tools include clickable rule citations to quickly view the rule in the original document in PropCode Library, including DCP PDFs, without leaving our platform.

PropCode also offers PropCode CDC as an easy and transparent tool to check CDC eligibility for a site and project.
